The Minges Wellness Center boasts 9,926 square feet of exciting exercise opportunities with over 25 different strength training machines and a 236 foot walking track used daily by members not only to improve their strength but also to improve balance, bone mass, and overall physical health.
Our certified fitness professionals are on duty at all hours, and regular group exercise programs are held in studio A.
This program ensures that your workouts are effective through personalized training, allowing you to achieve results more quickly.
As a Minges Member you have access to various monthly group exercise programs led by certified fitness professionals.
The goal will be for exercisers to equate their time spent exercising into miles and eventually make it to the 24,859 miles around the world.

Guests passes are $10 for a three-day pass. The Minges Wellness Center requires a $10 one time fee for members who are not in our tracking system. This fee is waived for new members during the month of January. Rates are monthly and can be paid on a monthly basis. All fees are non-refundable.

Cassie acquired her Masters of Exercise Science degree from California University of Pennsylvania. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer. Cassie loves to travel, hike, and spend time outdoors.
Julia is a graduate of ECU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Physiology. She is also a certified Exercise Physiologist. One of her passions is coaching and competing in Olympic weightlifting.
Brittney received her B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology and is an ACSM certified Health Fitness Specialist. Brittney works with cardiac rehab patients and members to enhance their overall health.
Connie has been employed at Lenoir Memorial for 25 years, has obtained her IFTA group fitness instructor certification, maintains the LinkLine Specialist position and assists with the Diabetes program.
Deb Williams assists with the event marketing, classes, and more. Her job also includes scheduling all the support groups and handling the Medicaid billing for the CAP-DA program.
The Silver&Fit and SilverSneakers Fitness are both excellent leading exercise programs for active older adults to help you stay fit with and connect with others through great programs. Minges Wellness Center is a proud fitness facility of Silver&Fit and SilverSneakers Fitness.
