Sonia graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1989. She has been employed by Lenoir Memorial Hospital since 1989 where she started as a staff nurse on the surgery floor. She has been working in Corporate & Community Health since January 1999. Sonia enjoys traveling to her numerous work sites and motivating her clients to adopt healthy lifestyle behaviors.
Constance Hengel is our director and has worked at Lenoir Memorial over 25 years. Constance has been a nurse for over 30 years and has worked at the Mayo Clinic and Duke prior to moving to Kinston. She is a board certified holistic nurse and a recipient of NC Great 100 nurses. She is passionate about implementing programs and collaboratives for community wellness, writes grants, develops new initiatives and encourages our entire team to be creative and remarkable.
