This program will give you momentum and guidance, enabling you to get off to a strong and confident start and it will also maximize your overall fitness level. This program ensures that your workouts are effective, allowing you to achieve goals more quickly.
If you want to need encouragement, we will motivate you to exercise. Most people set unrealistic goals to be challenging, yet realistic and attainable. We will make sure you are exercising correctly, which will prevent injuries.
If you have special medical needs or are recuperating from an injury, we will design a program that will take these needs into consideration.
Group exercise classes are held regularly and included in your Minges Membership.

ZUMBA: A fusion of Latin and International music that creates a dynamic, exciting, and effective fitness class. Zumba class participants across the nation have fallen in love with this dynamic captivating interval training sessions!

Gentle Yoga Class – Yoga with chair sitting and standing to increase stability and mobility. A 20 minute toning and strengthening class.
Chair Aerobics: A fun upbeat class to build your cardio fitness while seated in a chair. Get a chance to learn how to build stronger muscles with different exercise equipment. This class is open to all ages and fitness levels.

Sarah has her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from ECU and is a certified Clinical Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. She loves helping individuals establish and maintain healthy and active lifestyles.
Brittney received her B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from ECU and is an ACSM certified Health Fitness Specialist. She began working at Minges Wellness Center in 2012. Brittney encourages her cardiac rehab patients and Minges Wellness Center members to make a lifelong commitment to exercise in order to enhance their overall health.
