This program will give you momentum and guidance, enabling you to get off to a strong and confident start and it will also maximize your overall fitness level. This program ensures that your workouts are effective, allowing you to achieve goals more quickly.
If you want to need encouragement, we will motivate you to exercise. Most people set unrealistic goals to be challenging, yet realistic and attainable. We will make sure you are exercising correctly, which will prevent injuries.
If you have special medical needs or are recuperating from an injury, we will design a program that will take these needs into consideration.
Group exercise classes are held regularly and included in your Minges Membership.

Easy Tai Chi: Chinese internal martial art that teaches you how to cultivate the internal energy or Chi. Tai Chi will provide you with benefits such as increased energy, improved mental focus, balance, flexibility, and an inner calm. Tai Chi can show you the way to attain harmony and balance in your life.
Zumba GOLD TONING: Easy-to follow and effective, this class blends the Zumba party at a slower pace, incorporating totally body exercises using our Zumba Toning Sticks. A perfect combination of muscle conditioning, light weight activity, and fun!
Dance Fitness: This class incorporates many forms of dance. It is a full body aerobic workout divided into tracks for peaks and troughs in intensity.
Sarah has her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from ECU and is a certified Clinical Exercise Specialist through the American College of Sports Medicine. She loves helping individuals establish and maintain healthy and active lifestyles.
Brittney received her B.S. degree in Exercise Physiology from ECU and is an ACSM certified Health Fitness Specialist. She began working at Minges Wellness Center in 2012. Brittney encourages her cardiac rehab patients and Minges Wellness Center members to make a lifelong commitment to exercise in order to enhance their overall health.
